Friday, July 4, 2008 - I think I'll one up Parker with an 88. The aromatics were the highlight for me. Just gorgeous nose, reminiscent of a well made Gigondas. Sweet kirsch, slight spice, almost heady with a touch of scorched earth. Palate is filled with juicy red cherry and red currants, bitter chocolate, fairly soft mouthfeel, medium bodied, and just juicy.
