Sunday, October 12, 2008 - Decided to have this with Turkey dinner. Excellent match. Decanted for 2 hours. Nose was filled with oak and smoke while pouring into decanter. Wine starts with berries and slight vanilla flavour, very little tannin as one would expect from a new world Pinot. Alcohol is present without being overpowering but lacks acidity. Overall this is a very good wine. Definitely needs to be drunk now. This wine has all of the components of a great Pinot but i did not come away from it feeling wowed. Only had one bottle to share with 4. guess I'll have to get another one to confirm.
