Sunday, August 20, 2023 - There are a few producers of pinot from California that I enjoy (yes the region makes a BIG difference), but Martinelli is one of those vineyards that I so enjoy. This pinot is a perfect example of what they can produce (add them to your cellar). The dark cherry flavors, the dark fruit aromas, the smooth pleasant finish provides a very nice wine. The wine is drinking very nicely now and appears to have at least another 5 years in the bottle.
