Thursday, October 7, 2021 - A classic Brunello. The nose is alive with fruit - plum, strawberry with muted scents of tomato, pencil shavings, tobacco and oregano. Om the palate, the fruits are more muted and tomato, cherry, plum and oregano shine forth. The tannins are nicely integrated and it is drinking well now. It would be nice to try this again in a couple of years, but, alas, this is my last bottle.
