Saturday, April 27, 2024 - 4 years since my last bottle from this case. Decanted 2 hours then back into the bottle to take to dinner with the WGDMs.....
Mid garnet in the glass. Nose of classic pencil lead/graphite and red fruit. Some earthy mushroom notes as well.
Palate is nicely integrated and for the most part, resolved. There is more fruit remaining at 2-3 hours of air and it lessens slightly after that. Balance is key here, as always. Very nice but I get the feeling there are a few more points in here down the road.....very consistent from bottle to bottle thus far.

Amazing how this one is slowly settling into it's drinking window, yet I think I've scored just about every bottle I've had from the case over the last 7 years, a 95? Seemingly for slightly different reasons every time. I still think there's a couple of points left to surface....
