Friday, September 25, 2020 - Not a great vintage for Napa but a good wine from a classic producer. Drank from a half bottle. This has slightly muted fruit notes but it is stills a very typical, classic Napa Cab. Definitely complex on the nose. Dark fruit notes, mainly blackberry, as well as hints of spice. It also has some subtle herbaceous notes that I think will grow as it ages. Overall, an interesting wine, I am holding one more and I’m interested to see how it ages.
