Saturday, February 18, 2023 - I bought a bottle almost by accident, without realising it’s rarity. I had tasted the wines only at expositions; this was my first full bottle. If you’re lucky enough to find one, you’ll enjoy an oxidative experience akin to Bereche’s Reflet d’Antan, the light smoke and earth of a cool climate trout, and the honey of my uncle Franchino. Drink it now or keep it forever to bring out some rich mellow tarte tatin. I hope for another.
