Monday, October 3, 2022 - Considering the year (2011), if comparing it to other 2011's, I would give it a 98-99. My prior bottle was so, so a number of months ago. This bottle was spectacular! The depth and the complexity of the flavors was very surprising! The cabernet Sauvignon had pronounced dark berries that were matched the spice notes from the Cabernet Franc , and the petit verdot provided the olive tapanade notes. The merlot seemed to contribute some nice blue berry notes along with some cedar flavors. A good 45 seconds on the tongue of pure enjoyment. I wish that I had another 3-6 bottles... Will try and find some.
