Sunday, December 24, 2023 - Out of magnum, ruby color in the bowl though much lighter on the edge. Drinking very nicely out of magnum and was a perfect pairing with Cioppino. Raspberries, cherries, and licorice in the nose with notes of herbalness and minerals. Black cherries, blackberries and raspberries in the flavor. Would never of guessed 16.5% alcohol, the wine was well balanced and medium bodied with a very smooth medium to long finish.
