Sunday, January 30, 2022 - As since 1982 the grape composition is fixed 80% Sangiovese, 15% CS and 5% CF. Great opportunity to taste 2 bottles of ‘99 side by side. Intense complex aroma of leather, barnyard, dried cherries, dried tomatoes, meat, sweet tobacco, tar, underbrush. Medium body, broad flavour profile of dry berries, smokey and spiced hints, medicinal balsamic touches, delicate texture, well integrated acidity, structured fine tannins. On a verge of passing its peak, so drink up.
