Tuesday, August 3, 2021 - This is a really nicely made, honest wine. Nose shows the fruitier, more floral side of the grape with bright red cherry and strawberry and rose notes, hints of cigar/tobacco. palate nicely acidic, mineral, big fruit, some herbal tones, and a tad sweet, and not at all marred by oak. After reading about it, I better understand the goal, and I find it admirable, if not a typical example of Nebbiolo in the modern sense. It worked quite nicely with a spicy take on chicken cacciatore.
