Friday, November 21, 2008 - Still very black - absolutely no signs of color changing. Beautiful dusty earth, dark blackberry and black pepper on the nose. Soft burnished tannins, blackberry fruit and more dusty earth on the palate - just in a beuatiful spot right out of the bottle. Picked up more weight and intensity as it opened up - some more rich coffee,mocha and brambly leather notes started to show up on the nose and the fruit intensified on the palate. Excellent.
