Saturday, August 1, 2020 - Deep ruby, and still pretty homogeneous despite age. Pronounced nose with rose, violets, bell peppers, and paprika. Still some bright acids while tannins quite rounded, and a classic blackberry, sour cherry, and grassy hit, and later exhibits peppery, paprika, and clove nuances. Quite a long, tar-dominated finish. Nice!

9/28/2021 4:26:00 PM - Question for anyone who can help. We’re hosting a large dinner party in honor of my father-in-law and as he’s always provided us with top notch wine, we’re planning to open our 1999 double magnum Tignanello. Does anyone have any recommendations on decanting duration? This will be my first double mag and both the vintage and size is a challenge for me. 🙏
