Sunday, July 1, 2018 - Medium dark ruby with a light ripe strawberry nose. Smooth and soft with a nice balance of acid on the front followed by well integrated tannins. Medium tart red berry fruit, calcareous earthy mineral, sorrel, balsam and cane pith tannins. Not overly complex, but a very refreshing wine, drinking well with food or a casual drink. Became softer and smoother over several days open.
