Sunday, August 28, 2016 - The wine was opened several hours beforehand and decanted for 45 minutes. Color was crimson and dark, less sediment than expected and the nose was filled with berries and a hint of eucalyptus. The fruit was all in harmony, raisins, stewed plum, some cocoa and a finish that lingered on the palate. A classic super Tuscan. Paired well with roasted meat. Perhaps it has another 2-3 years left but you will not be disappointed by drinking it now.
