Likes this wine:

Tuesday, June 14, 2016 - An eclectic mix of black cherries, raspberry bramble, deep red apple skins, and a bit of plum stand out on the nose. This is different from my previous experiences with this bottling. More primary fruit and forward but still expressive in its complexity. Balance is there on the palate in that there's a harmony between the tannin and acidity. Dark fruit flavors and spice persist through the finish. This is an exceptional wine although I do prefer it in lighter vintages. First tasted this at the Red Barn tasting room on release and remember thinking it was far from ready to drink. This little bit of time has softened it some, and it is drinking well now, though further aging would be beneficial.
