Tuesday, January 19, 2016 - I could rave about the outstanding value of the wine but i don't. It drinks like a benchmark yarra pinot and that's what it is, value or not.
Closed at the start as you would expect; opens up upon fresh cranberries, sour cherrie and sweet strawberries.
Fruit gets balance from a popping acidity that carries through the mid palate, right where a powdery tannic framework carries the finish.
It is just so well made, delicious, inviting, never boring. Needs time in the glass and in the bottle. Will peak probably at its 5th birthday and plateau alike.
