Tuesday, October 22, 2013 - Medium-dark color, deep-red showing a tinge of rust color at this age. The wine is off-dry. Right out of the bottle, medium fruit intensity with a nose of smoke, bacon and hints of ripe cherries. With some swirling I got a nose of mushroom. This is a full-bodied wine with supple tannins and a surprisingly long finish for Pinot Noir.
