Monday, September 24, 2012 - 375ml bottle. 13.5% alcohol. Good nose, rather forward and perfumed. Notes black berry, dark cherry, licorice with hints of toasty oak. Medium-bodied with good structure. Smooth and silky on entry, a bit Marguax-like. Decent length with chocolate aftertaste but slight heat at the end. Fresh acidity and fruity with pretty good balance overall. Another 2009 Bordeaux that is approachable and enjoyable young. Great nose on 2nd day, still maintains good balance with soft tannins. This is showing better than Larcis Ducasse 2009 tasting along side. Did not buy this during EP, will need to stock this. 93-94 pts.
