Monday, April 30, 2012 - This is a 14.7% abv Sauv Blanc from Napa Valley. On the nose, I get the extracted green apple and lemon zest that reminds me more of a NZ SB. A bit "over the top" for my liking. The palate shows a balanced wine with very tight acid, notes of fresh cut grass and citrus vibrancy, and a lemon drop finish that lasts 20+ seconds. The wine is tasty but not really my cup of tea. Should drink well for another few years.
