91 Points

Monday, July 4, 2011 - At Pazzo in Portland, OR. Served a bit too warm initially, but they gladly let me chill it to my liking (probably about 58F) where it came together much better. Initially a bit of funk on the nose. That diminished and the forefront wad taken by cranberry and violets, with some spice and campfire. Medium in body. The palate delivered spiced cranberry cider, hard candy, and a minerally undertone. The alcohol seemed to burst through a bit on the finish, but otherwise this was quite a fine bottle. 90-91
