Saturday, May 11, 2024 - Blind Pinot Noir Tasting and Lunch (San Francisco): Ruby. Harsher stem dominant aromas with rose florality and berry as well. Medium body. Stems and tannins dominate, but there is a lot of pretty, dark cherry trying to edge its way in. Moderately tannic, chocolatey finish. Sharper with less pleasing harmony and balance than the younger Cornish Point, and I wonder if it will catch up with more aging.
