Friday, May 10, 2024 - First go w the Felton Road B2 in this vintage (v20, 14% ABV) - appears slightly close-woven at first pour, clearly citric & quite rich in alcohol, opening up throughout bottle to citrus heaven w a tropical touch & go attitude. Straw-yellow, crystal-clear in appearance. Nose w deep scents of nectarine, lemon & grapefruit, ripe lime emerging w further air, marzipan & butter w a touch of wood. Mineral-driven, taut, m+-palate, peach & apricot adding to the flavour profile, barrel spice & lime-drenched, oily acidity. Hold for now or decant.
