Saturday, April 20, 2024 - This drank so much better than a much more evolved bottle consumed a couple of months ago. Deep purple in appearance. Ripe, sweet blackberry fruit with mocha and some iodine notes. Full-bodied mouthful of velvety rich dark fruit flows seamlessly across the palate with some spice and a pronounced dark cherry note. Well-balanced for such a big wine. A superb bottle and very enjoyable.
