Tuesday, March 12, 2024 - A nice every day drinker and decent QPR at $20/750ml. Deep ruby in color, though not quite opaque, the nose is full of sweet, summer red fruit, sous bois, and hints of crushed, wet rocks. On the palate, juicy ripe strawberries and raspberries, dried herbs, and warm spices. Acidity hits on the mid-palate, but dissipates quickly leading to some greenness and medium-grained tannins. Would be a 90+ if the acidity carried through as the finish is a bit green and flabby, but otherwise a very nice wine.
