Monday, November 20, 2023 - Reductive on first opening. Red cherry, cranberry, and spices. Touches of smoke, dried cherry and forest floor. Light to medium bodied with vibrant acidity. Some astringency initially which settled in with air. Not particularly long. Very good but not exceptional. Drink now or hold.

WSET Notes:

Pale garnet.

Pronounced on the nose with red cherry, cranberry, clove, smoke, struck match, manure, leather, dried cherry, forest floor. Developing.

Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium minus body, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus finish.

Can drink now but has potential for aging.
