92 Points

Sunday, December 25, 2022 - Dec22- Screwcap. Aged yellow. Reductive opening, peach pie, sweet apple and a lemon-sherbet quality. Stone fruits and oak dominate the palate with a preserved lemon peel note at the backend. Medium+ Acid which provides some needed counter-balance. length is long. It’s a big bold oaky fruit salad of a chardonnay, that did overpower the roast chicken that accompanied it for lunch. Doing well for 14 years, certainly not a shrinking violet (nor is it intended to be). Meursault-esq in a hot vintage typicity. 91-92
