Getting red berries, cherries, blackberries, baking spices. Some herbal qualities, and a touch of saline minerality. Also getting some cedar and graphite. All in all, a tasty medium bodied wine. Not a lot of depth or heaviness to the wine. A bit of tanginess and some black tea bitterness. This is not a sweet fruited wine overall, but there is some sweetness to the fruit (but a dry wine). Dusty smooth tannins on the finish. This is not a big wine, definitely a cool climate wine on the lighter mouthfeel side. |

Starting to settle into its secondary flavours, moved just outside its prime window and beginning to settle into decline. Unless you are trying to see how far you can take this wine, consume now for maximum enjoyment. Aromatics are still there, of brown sugar, dark fruit - blackberry, and jam. Still has some red notes on the pallet. Oak is integrated well. |

Dark Fruits on the pallet and nose, with a small hint of fresh grass. Full bodied. Will last for at least another ten years, but in its prime now. There was a little bit of sediment nothing obscene. |
