Lots of secondary and some tertiary notes on the palate - leather, spices, raisin, ripe red plum. Medium tannin, medium acidity. Unlike other notes i wouldn’t say this is overly advanced compared to other 2007 brunello. Just reflects a hot vintage that probably isn’t built for the long haul. For me this is probably at peak and I would drink any remaining bottles over the next 5 years. |

Very structured, old school claret, probably just entering a long drinking window. No harm in popping a bottle now if you have a few, but I feel like it's best days are still to come. |

I thought it was really nice, definitely on the rustic side, but I didn't get the feeling it was over the hill. I agree the tannins were much less than I was expecting, but thats not to say they were absent or the wine was unstructured. Drink now or over the next 10 years I would say. |
