6/30/2018 - Stirling Likes this wine: 96 pointsGorgeous wine that is brimming with black cherry and plum fruit that gains lots of complexity from the expresso, dried herbs and spice secondary notes. Just entering maturity now, this should provide great drinking for another decade at least. Medium/full body with polished tannin this has a tremendous mouthfeel: full and round without being heavy. We have drank Beaucastel going back to the 1998 vintage and this is their best effort yet. www.advinetures.ca |

2001 d'Arenberg Cabernet Sauvignon The Coppermine RoadMcLaren Vale more |
9/5/2015 - Stirling Likes this wine: 91 pointsDark red with slight fade at rim. Black currants and bumbleberry pie on the nose with hints of menthol and vanilla. Full body delivers a palate that is powerful and long with a streak of acidity on the finish that ends with a slightly tart note. Bigger in style but balanced, quite Napa in style. www.advinetures.ca
