5/24/2024 - Dfortin9 Likes this wine: 91 pointsWell built showing blackberry, licorice, dark sherry and a hint of vanilla. Medium to full bodied, bright acidity and medium grained, well integrated tannins. Good flavory length. I enjoyed drinking that one. However feels like a bit overpriced. NI:4, FI:21, FC:8, B:4, L:4 |

4/29/2024 - WR701 Does not like this wine: 89 pointsThis is a very well made wine that probably deserves a higher rating. It is smooth and balanced from the opening through the finish. If you like Cabernet with more of a red fruit (not cherries) character (raspberry and something else in the red family that I cannot identify), you very well may love this wine. |

4/1/2024 - krhaugh Likes this wine: 92 pointsDecanted > 1hour. Paired nicely with lasagna but was not as flavorful as the 2015 Ayoub Mojo. We hadn't tasted this vintage for 5 years. Wine is maturing and still has time in the bottle. Drinking nicely right now if you are so inclined. |

3/29/2024 - SMHalps Likes this wine: 94 pointsPart of a WA State wine night with my group. All the reds were from 2010 to 2013. This was one of three wines from the Champoux vineyard. It was opened, but not decanted for at least 90 minutes before pouring. Probably the WOTN. Dark color, long finish, great balance between fruit, spice and tonic structure. |

3/24/2024 - yaanik Likes this wine: 94 pointsVery Bordealais! Very nice wine. Inky black. Cassis, cherry, toasty applewood. Certainly needs time for everything to come together. Revisit in 2028 |

3/17/2024 - chugwine Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis bottle rocked, as to be expected from the OG Leonetti/Figgins family. Popped with the Durand, unfortunately broke during the surgery, cork came out in one piece, no problems. Gave it a decant with cheese cloth, glad I did, heavy sediment. Immediately upon decant could smell the aromas of a very special bottle. Not super over powering on the nose, vanilla and maple syrup, very hearty and fulfilling nose. This wine is at peak, it was beautifully integrated, mouth watering, juicy with big dark red fruits, plum, cherries. Ms. Chugwine wanted another bottle as we slammed it in like an hour. Trying to compare to other Cabernet's, this felt like a Napa Schrader for a quarter of the price. Big, in your face Cabernet Sauvignon, beautifully integrated. I was expecting the quality but always nice to pop and it to fulfill expectations! Grab some if you can. |

1/10/2024 - AGELVIS Likes this wine: 94 pointsFour hour decant. Very very deep magenta color. Black cherry, raspberry, licorice, hydrangea, and subtle mocha. Dry, satiny, medium+ bodied palate, with sandy acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

12/31/2023 - Stuart10er Likes this wine: NRFantastic. Deep ruby colored with a nose of black and red fruit. Seems to be at the beginning of things. Tannins still quite present but starting to integrate in as they are not jarring. Very enjoyable. |

12/21/2023 - kend707 Likes this wine: 94 pointsElegant. Cherry and bramble. Medium to full bodied. Decanted three hours. Body seems to gain the longer it is out of bottle. Tannins are apparent, but the wine is young. Will be interesting to open again in 3 - 5 years. |
