Part of a WA State wine night with my group. All the reds were from 2010 to 2013. This was one of three wines from the Champoux vineyard. It was opened, but not decanted for at least 90 minutes before pouring. Probably the WOTN. Dark color, long finish, great balance between fruit, spice and tonic structure.

Beautiful wine. In a great spot. Decanted for an hour and drank over 4 hours. Edges are soft and paired well with steak and blue cheese stuffed mushrooms. Mostly primary fruit with soft edges and a long finish.

Fantastic. Deep ruby colored with a nose of black and red fruit. Seems to be at the beginning of things. Tannins still quite present but starting to integrate in as they are not jarring. Very enjoyable.

Big wine on early drinking plateau. Paired well with meatloaf. Drink now to 2030.
