Double blind. Notes of dark fruit, Indian spices and herbs. Chocolate, tapenade and dark fruit flavors. Becomes more red-fruited as it opens but retains a nice herbal overtone. Young, but quite tasty already- my WOTF. (J&J)

Earth, back fruit, and spice with a wild, feral quality. Meaty qualities with black fruit, game and pepper. Balanced; fully-integrated. Elegant. 92-93 pts. This had been double decanted off its sediment almost two hours before it was poured. A lovely mature syrah.

Double blind. Chocolate, currant, plum and brown sugar notes. Lush black fruit on the palate, along with wood spice and mocha qualities. Firm, fin-grained tannins. Impressive in spite of its youth. (R&R)

Raisiny fruit dominates the bouquet and palate. Meh. Others will enjoy this more than me.

Double decanted off its sediment and served perhaps three hours later. Dark fruit with a dusty edge. Hints of spice and barrel toast as well. Ripe plummy fruit on the palate with a nice finish. A bit young yet, but there's good potential.
