Herbal, passionfruit and lemon notes with some flint as well. Has a good mix of that herbal note as well as some sweeter styled fruit. Acid kicks up through the middle a bit but it settles by the finish. Mid length and depth here, though it seemed best now while served quite cold to rein it all in. Not a bad showing at all.
Mealy, lemon, yellow florals and smoky toasty notes. Palate is sweet at the edges, but seems fairly well controlled. Pretty good length and overall balance. It is early days but doesn't seem have the depth or purity of my favourite vintages but I still liked it.
Pretty nose, raspberries and currants with cherry and plum. Quite a sweet palate upfront, lots of that same red tinged berry fruit. Some savoury notes in the background but they are secondary to the fruit for now. Good but needs that sweet edge taken off with some age.
Blueberry, mint and raspberry with some toast from the oak coming through for now. Fresh lift on the palate, balances the fruit weight and acidity really nicely and retains good elegance. Nicely proportioned, keen to see where this lands with time but I feel optimistic.
Cherry, charcoal, ash and licorice. Medium bodied, charcoal and savoury red fruit with a fair bit of herbal and sappy spice giving it quite a lean peception.
Violets, chocolate, plum, and cherry on the nose. Great mix of ripe fruit together with fine grained tannins giving it structure. Plenty of time left to develop and I think it should continue along a strong path.
