These wines need a day or two to show their best. Fairly simple and sweet at first but it opened up beautifully over a couple of days. Mahogany colour with a hint of green at the rim. Nose is all walnut oil and a hint of cumin, great depth and warmth. Moderate sweetness but a superb cheese wine (especially cheddar), subtle rancio, lots of walnuts with lingering depth. Superb.

Not dissimilar from a mid-level sherry. Nice acid, good acidic nuttiness.
