This was still delicious. Full of dried cherry, blueberry, and raisins. But not overly sweet - it finished with a touch of acidity which made it well balanced.

PHMG WAG Blind Pairs (Lyon's): This smoked a '07 Niepoort LBV blind (as well it should at twice the price). Dark and sumptuous berry fruit w/ well integrated etoh and tannins. Nice long finish. A true crowd pleaser, 10/10 picked it as their favorite. Has loads of time if you can keep your hands off it...

This Tempranillo based port style dessert wine is dark and full bodied. The nose is blackberry, rasin, plum, and brandy. The mouth feel is a big body a big sweet fruit, offset with a big tannic finish. Scrumptious, lingering and fulfilling, try it with dark chocolate, sharp cheddar or fruit for a fulfilling dessert.
