  • Overall a good bottle in great shape for its age. Pleasant aroma and good concentration in flavor. This was my last bottle.

  • Delicious and extremely pleasing. Nothing really stands out negatively nor especially positively. Evolving slowly as Roederer champagnes do. I was hoping for a bit more complexity, but I believe it will come with 5-10 years more age. Drink now - 2030.

  • (Disgorged in spring of 2009, Dosage 11 gr/l, 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay) Lovely salmon pink colour with a stream of very fine bubbles that lead way for the still youthful nose showing minerals and wild raspberries and even some French bakery. After some glass time it opens up showing a fat and creamy brazil nut in a lovely way. Palate is still very tough with lots of fresh acidity and with a fruitful middle and wonderful long finish. This was feeling more youthful than expected, and in need of more time to open up some lovely tertiary notes of truffles and sois bois. Together with the corn-fed chicken this was drinking very nicely today, but is a delight already. Best 2014-2024.

  • (Disgorged in 2009, Dosage of 11 gr/L) Lovely light copper-coloured with a stream of very fine and tiny bubbles. Nose immediately explode into flavours of of minerals, strawberries and bourbon vanilla in a still very youthful way. Palate shows lots of red berries and structure with tannins and a fresh and very long bitter lemon and licorice root finish. This is a very good rosé cuvée made with saignée method. And although it is such high dosage it's not notable when drinking this very superbly rosé right now. I'm sure it'll evolve further, but it's hard to keep hands off! This was perfect with the truffle salami and coulommiers. Best 2014-2024.

  • Pale pinkish orange colour. Nose with strawberries and raspberries, red apples going a bit in the winter apple direction, bread, hints of dried fruit, zest, mineral, some mature Burgundy notes with forest floor, decaying leaves, and mushroom. Medium bodied, red apples and some green apples, citrus, quite good acidity, some mineral, and a green appl-y aftertaste. The nose shows a bit of developed notes but also youngish fruit notes, and is more complex than the palate. Fine balance, could develop more, 90-91 p.
As I remember it, the 2006 had a bit more weight on the palate.
