Was good to go after a 3 hour decant; drank over 6 hours. Tasted against 2 other Pinots; the ‘07 Penner Ash Palmer Creek (84 pts), and the ’07 Christopher Bridge Satori Springs (89 pts). The Willamette was clearly superior, showing more intensity and complexity. Approaching its window, but I would give it another 2 years before I expect it to be hitting its stride.

Beautiful berry fruit bouquet with a hint of tobacco. Taste on opening disappoints. Tart with bright harsh fruit. May need a few more years
