  Very cloudy orange-red-brown color. Very tasty sweet fruit melange on the nose. Past its prime but still has fruit and a creamy texture. Long red berry finish with a hint of black licorice.

  Still has a hint of cherry, blackberry and leather, even though it's a little past it's prime drinking time. Tasty and enjoyable.

  Quite disappointed with the excess oxidation in this bottle. Can't tell if the cork or the storage was the culprit. It was kind of drinkable, but I still let 1/2 the bottle go down the drain because the distraction was just too much. What a waste.

Medium body, cherry/berry blood and iron on the palate follow the nose, rustic flavors, good balance with decent acidity, tannins only show on the finish, which is moderate in length and tapers off on the fruit. Drinking well now and should continue to drink well for another 5-10 years. Excellent to outstanding.
