  • Tasted this at the winery before buying a bottle for myself. The bouquet strongly hints of a maderia or brandy flavor and the pallet follows through on that promise. Delicious!

  • 50+5+12+16+7 Aromas of ripe red plum and raspberry tickle your nose as it opens. Lively mouthfeel with lots of bright red fruits and berries. Well balanced acidity, no flabbiness at all. No heat but some spice. Doesn't need decanting, but suggest opening the bottle a bit in advance to allow it to open a bit.

  • I never had a Barbera before walking into the Gustavo Thrace tasing room across the street from Taylor's refresher in Napa. What a nice surprise. Rich, medium bodied, with a little spice. A really enjoyable wine right out of the bottle. We took a few bottles and they paired well with burgers and even the ahi burgers. At this price, i feel like i've struck oil.
