Could there be better halbtrocken??? This stuff is The Juice, the apogee of summertime wine, the perfect fit for someone looking to quaff some vino during the picnic, but still not willing to compromise on creamy, mineral-laden depth and complexity. The classroom meets the quad, in essence. This wine is all about expression AND inherent grandeur, in a cool package depicting that most mysterious and enduring symbol of the circle solved.

Grosser Ring Tasting of 2007 wines from the Nahe, Mosel, Saar and Ruwer (German Embassy, London): 12.5%
Not a lot on the nose, just very faint infantile riesling characteristics. Crisp, clean palate with some depth and character. Rather pleasant.
