Haart reports that the grapes were picked two weeks after the Kabinett and showed higher-than-average must weight. Fine petrol and mineral aromas open into a dazzling purity of concentrated stone fruit and green-gage plum, with notes of earth and mushroom appearing on the long, refined finish. (Reinhold Haart Piesporter Goldtropfchen Spatlese) Just a classic nose. Stuffed with tropical fruit. Almost overflowing. Really wide open at this stage. Opulent and covers the palate quickly. Thick, yet pure, acidic and clean. Great balancing act going on with this wine.

Don’t remember specific notes but I do remember this was an incredible wine and the bottle of the night for a lineup of German Rieslings w diversity in age and region. Really good place right now.

Pnp. Light-medium gold in colour. Nose of caramelized yellow fruits and freshly cut pineapples. On the palate, crushed apricots and peaches are noted along with green apples and a touch of minerality; a touch dry. Medium bodied with a medium+ finish. Served with cedar plank salmon and Asian fried rice.

I absolutely love this. Great fruit, acid, minerals, all in balance. So delicious. Paired amazing with pork schnitzel. Wish I had more

Pale gold. Stone, kerosene and white nectarine aromas; an intense palate of white nectarie and slate, dense fruited slight phenolic grip, length for days. So impressive.
