Ripe blue berries and plums with a touch of sweet licorice and star anise. Palate is fruit forward and clean. Medium-bodied structure, some tensions in the mid-palate. Tannins are somewhat chalky for now. Decanting for an hour for better harmony. A few more years of aging would be beneficial to the overall balance.
