Italian Wine Scholar Class @ The Texas Wine School. Pale yellow. Pronounced lemongrass, jalapeño, goose-berry & lime. Youthfully green. Dry, and more fruit-forward on the palate, w/ med acidity & high alcohol (14%). Medium bodied, w/ med+ flavor intensity and length, w/ a savory wet stone finish. A polarizing wine, the grapes appear to have been intentionally picked under-ripe, but the acidity is lacking & the alcohol is nonetheless high. Perhaps there's some bottle variation. As it stands, I can think of lots of better Collio or Colli Orientali or Isonzo SBs at this - or even a lower - price point.
