  The nose revealed orange peel, cherry cola and black pepper. These notes carried on in the palate. It is a light bodied wine, but precise and persistent. By the second pour it gained more substance and some brown spice tones. We found it thoroughly delicious and it had a refreshing ripe acidity. Choose a lightly spiced dish with this wine. A grilled pork chop suited it well and I found myself wishing for a slice of savory mushroom pastry. It is about finesse, not power.
