Drank over 3 nights - better on night 2, best on night 3. Notes from night 1 - light red color. On nose, sweet cherry, sour cherry floral (by night 3, cedar/rose petals and sweet pipe tobacco). Medium body, medium tannins, medium+ acidity and long finish. Decant for a few hours if drinking now. 91-93+ range.
Would buy again and drink from 1/2026+

2019 Barbaresco Tasting: My #1, group #4. Sweet herbs on the nose. Smooth, complex flavors with some rough tannins underneath. Flavors were balanced but overall still tannic. Medium+ finish.

Tasted at Tre Bicchieri NYC. Nicely complete and fragrant wine with purity of fruit and complexity at such a young age. With time in the cellar this should be glorious. Roses, cherry, menthol, medium density with a translucent medium garnet color. Long finish. Delicious now with food and a long decant, should begin to sing at about 10 years old but best a decade+ from now for me.

Really lovely. Dark cherry, that eventually became like a chocolate Covered cherry. Lots of earthy notes and some leather.
