I’m surprised by the community scores on this wine. It was excellent, with load of complexity and some nice layering that you won’t find in much else around the price.
Super aromatic on the nose. Lots of apple cider (both a fresh cider plus a little oxidative note there too) and honey stand out. On the palette tons of acidic energy with nicely concentrated and tart lemons and limes, with those same apple cider and honey notes layered beneath. The wine has tremendous texture that really elevates it for me, and makes its $60 price tag feel like a solid bargain. I may be picking up a few more of these and trying other wines from A. Bergere.
A. Bergere produces this blanc de blanc solera going back to the 2013 vintage. Aged in 228L barrels with base 2020 vintage. Unfiltered and 3g/l dosage.

Personally, I think this could drop a few grams of sugar. Also, some cellaring would do it good. Other than that, this was a fine Champagne. Solera 13-18, forgot to check the deg date sadly.

A very pure and complete Champagne. Lemon curd, stonefruit and minerality dominate the wine. Great wine for seafood, caviar and everything between!
