Medium expressive nose displaying pure but sour red fruit, raspberry, maraschino cherry, light caramel, some, cooper, spearmint and limestone. Very good concentration, sweet and sour red fruit, generous but slightly coarse mousse, good energy and focus, bright acidity, limestone mineral, and a medium to long sour red fruit driven finish with copper at the end. I wish it is a bit more creamy and elegant. I need to revisit soon.

This was a really exceptional. Every now and then Dom rosé can be a little bit of a head scratcher. I have loved many bottles though. I believe this is the first 2008 I’ve drunk. It was bristling with freshness, and energy and tons of deep, dark, red strawberries, and a little rhubarb. It was braced with beautiful minerals, rock dust maybe some deep dark purple/red clay. It frank terrifically as it was bright and ebullient. I really liked it.

Epic night at Capasso. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, reddish pink colour. Thin legs. Frothy bubbles. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fruity expressive cherries, strawberries, fresh red apples, oyster-shell mineral undertow. Developing. On the palate, dry, soft high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), soft medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of fruity strawberries, peaches, red apples, red cherries, raspberry. Lovely long finish. Very good quality. So fruity expressive on pop and pour already. Nothing shy at all here. Much unlike the 2008 Dom Pérignon Champagne.

Won't score....this particular bottle wasn't giving much. May need to revisit in a couple years.
