Killer deal from K&L! Lots of lime, green apple and herbs on the nose. Somewhat electric palate - almost Chablis like - with more citrus, barely ripe apples and minerals with lots of acid. 91+

Another great showing. Excellent. Lime, nice energetic acidity, fine herbs, some mint?, crushed dry rocks, some lemon zest? Nice depth of fruit and such purity of fruit. Drinking great now and probably easily cruises along for a few more years if stored properly.
Update: ~1/3 of the bottle, having been gently poured to completely fill an 8+ ounce bottle overnight, continued to drink very well the second night. The acid attack was really noticeable at first the second night, coming on strong. Yet the fruit / dry extract was such that it's worth noting a 1-2 minute finish. Wow.

What a deal at $20. Not unhappy to have one more in the cellar.

For Chablis lovers. Solid fruit, with strong acidity. Galloni went nuts for this thing - that's a bit hyperbolic. However, it's pretty damned good, KL charged $20 (!!!). Spectacular qpr.

This beauty is flying under the radar (*). Some quick research indicates that this is a husband and wife project, Huffine Virgil, with Huffine being the winemaker for LIOCCO. That will give you an idea of the approach.
This is a beautiful wine though it starts off feeling a bit thin in the middle, missing something, but improved in the glass. So I decided to stopper it to let ~2/3 of the bottle integrate a bit of air overnight. Filled out and showed more complexity on the second night, this is also a wine you don't want to serve too cold.
Lemon in the nose and mouth, dried herbs, seashell and limestone minerality, this has an energetic but still settled 'transmissibility' of the varietal. Some honey and hints of ripe tropical fruits. Sorry this isn't helping much, but the wine is delicious. Excellent.
12.8% abv. I'd have guessed mid-upper-13's based on texture and overall feel.
* Under the radar in part because wine-searcher.com doesn't have this wine. Entering "Trail Marker Chardonnay..." displays only single vineyard renditions and results did not include this wine.
