shared with pat at selkirk manor. i continue to prune the cellar of wines with past due drink by dates. no formal notes except to say that this was a very enjoyable bottle. see previous note for flavor profile. the wine seems to have put on some weight since last tasting. i was staying conservative with my drink by date due to lack of feedback from others. wish i had read the back label winemaker suggested drinking range of 2021 to 2024. in hindsight, i probably would have waited a little longer to see how much further the wine might develop. proud to be a wvv stock holder. i guess this adds a little to brand loyalty although i think i am being objective.

shared with pat at selkirk manor. we are WVV owners and are just becoming familiar with their wines. opened this bottle for virtual tasting hosted by jim b. who shared extensive information on the history of this varietal. the wine was enjoyable with vibrant citrus/lime and apricot notes. poured off leftover wine into a half bottle which continued to show well after a day of refrigeration. no information available regarding longevity. my impression is that it will be most enjoyable over the short term. this tasting experience added to our pride in being owners.
